Crymych 59 - Llangennech 21

Crymych rounded off their league season in terrific style as they overwhelmed Llangennech to finish in a very respectable joint fifth place in a very strong section.
 
The Preseli Men were already 17-7 to the good at half time and although the visitors managed two more tries a free-flowing second half it was Crymych who produced some superb rugby to add another 42 points.
 
Crymych’s first-half tries were scored by Tomos Phillips, Rhodri Davies and Joe Powell, one of them converted by Rhys Davies, whilst Llangennech’s only response was a try by Rhys Geeley which Tom Barnes goaled.
 
The visitors added second half tries from Ifan Beynon-Thomas and Josh Hewitt, both converted by Barnes, but for the rest of the time found themselves on the back foot as the Preseli Mem powered over for further good tries by Andrew Phillips, Aled Harries, Dion Gibby, Gavin Thomas, Rhys Davies and two from Shaun Leonard.
 
Six of them were converted by Davies to leave Crymych as worthy winners, with the KO Cup Final against Tenby United at Haverfordwest as their final objective of a long campaign.
